    Improving child social services in Iraq

    Genesis was contracted by UNICEF Iraq to strengthen social services in Iraq by focusing on the children of the area. It will help grow the social safety network with a cash-transfer programme in Iraq as well as the Kurdistan region of Iraq.

    Bridging the social protection gap for Zambia’s vulnerable children

    Genesis has been contracted by the World Bank to support the Government of Zambia to design and pilot service delivery models for the inclusion of vulnerable children orphaned or affected by Covid-19 and other adversities into the country’s Social Cash Transfer Programme.

    Social spending review aims to spur on reforms in Iraq

    Genesis has been contracted to conduct a Social Protection Expenditure and Performance Review as part of efforts to improve social protection outcomes and accelerate reforms in Iraq.

    Costing the path to progress for youth policy in Lebanon

    Genesis was contracted by UNICEF Lebanon to conduct a costing of the National Youth Policy Action Plan (NYPAP) for Lebanon with the goal of developing a strategic action plan for its implementation.

    Social protection expenditure review in Jordan

    Genesis was contracted by UNICEF to examine social protection spending and efficiency in Jordan with the aim of bolstering the government’s efforts in scaling up programmes across the country, while improving their efficiency, quality and uptake.

    Transforming futures with child-sensitive social safeguards

    Genesis was contracted by Save the Children to complete five investment cases – in Malawi, Somalia, Somaliland, Uganda and Zambia – that examined the cost-effectiveness of investing in child-sensitive social protection (CSSP).

    Financing adaptive social protection in fragile nations

    Genesis was contracted to conduct a multi-country study of the public finance systems and processes used as part of adaptive social protection (ASP) responses in fragile countries over the past five to six years. The evidence gathered will help UNICEF to strengthen ASP systems in fragile countries.

    Employability toolkit to bridge skills gap in higher education

    Genesis was contracted by the Education Development Centre under USAID’s Leading Through Learning Global Platform agreement to develop a Higher Education Employability Toolkit for Africa as well as Latin America and the Caribbean (LAC).

    Enhancing economic prospects for youth on the margins

    Genesis, in partnership with Generation Unlimited (GenU) and 10 UNICEF country offices, is conducting a foundational landscape analysis across Africa and the Middle East that informs the development of the investment agenda in each country and addresses challenges confronting the youth.
