Reproductive, Maternal, Child Health and Nutrition

Reproductive, Maternal, Child Health and Nutrition

Overview

Our goal is to unlock the potential of healthy women and thriving generations.

We believe that the health of a nation is rooted in the well-being of its women, children, and adolescents. Yet, preventable maternal and child mortality remains unacceptably high, disproportionately impacting low-and-middle income countries and vulnerable populations.

Investing in women and child health is one of the most powerful ways to unlock human potential. From a young woman's reproductive choices through to a child’s fifth birthday, equitable access to quality healthcare including routine and life-course immunisation is essential for survival and long-term well-being.

Our work in Reproductive, Maternal, Child Health and Nutrition is focused on ensuring women have access to the family planning and contraceptive services they need and want, and every child has the chance to survive and thrive through key immunisation and nutrition services.

We have helped shape national policies, supported the rollout of new products, and measured impact to inform future programming, always working in partnership to strengthen resilient, equitable, and country-led health systems.
