UNAIDS contracted Genesis to support the meeting of 19 South African municipalities to implement its 90-90-90 project that assists countries to control the HIV epidemic by setting ambitious targets to get people on antiretroviral (ARV) treatment and ensure they are virally suppressed.

Genesis conducted a socio-economic impact assessment of the feasibility of implementation of the Electronic Deeds Registration Bill for the Department of Rural Development and Land Reform.

Genesis was retained to support CRIDF in their work to improve the livelihoods of local communities within and around the Kavango-Zambezi Transfrontier Conservation Area (KAZA TFCA).

Genesis worked with the African Development Bank to provide technical support for the structuring and implementation of the Songwe River Basin Development Project – a transboundary project on the border of Tanzania and Malawi.

The National Energy Regulator of South Africa (NERSA) asked Genesis to design a Regulatory Impact Assessment framework for use in evaluating the decisions made by the regulator.

Genesis leads the financial work stream on a project to assess the viability of constructing a scheme that will bring water from northern border of Botswana to the large demand centres in the south east.

Genesis was commissioned by the Investment Climate Facility to assist the Seychelles government in developing a legal and regulatory architecture to support PPPs in their country.

Genesis was retained as the project economists for the 12 Towns Project aimed at providing a sustainable and equitable supply of safe water and appropriate sanitation to 12 border towns in Zambia, a country strategically and centrally located in the SADC region. 

Genesis assisted the Zimbabwe Energy Regulatory Authority to develop pricing models for the regulation of liquid fuels in Zimbabwe. 

The liquid fuels include petrol and blended petrol, diesel, aviation fuel, biofuel (ethanol) and LPG.
