South Africa can create 500,000 new jobs over 10 years through globally traded services. This was one of the key findings of the South Africa in the Digital Age (SADA) process. SADA is an urgent multi-stakeholder initiative to develop a forward-looking digital economy strategy for the country. It is convened by Genesis Analytics in partnership with the Gordon Institute of Business Science and the Pathways for Prosperity Commission at Oxford university.

The debt relief bill's impact on South Africa's society and economy is "net negative", an independent study commissioned by the government found.
The socio-economic impact assessment was conducted by Genesis Analytics for the Department of Trade and Industry earlier this year. Genesis collected evidence from January to March 2019 and the report was finalised in April 2019.

A tech-enabled future will create jobs for the unskilled and the reskilled
President Cyril Ramaphosa warned at the University of Johannesburg’s celebration of 25 years of democracy in July that South Africans should brace for mass job losses. Project plans to reach 4.1m more family planning users by 2020
Genesis Analytics has been contracted by International Planned Parenthood Federation (IPPF) to conduct Client Exit Interviews (CEIs) with family planning clients in 17 countries in Africa.
This project forms a core part of the UK Department for International Development’s (DFID) flagship family planning programme: Women’s Integrated Sexual Health (WISH).

New partnership to support digital banking transformation in Africa and Middle East
Orange Business Services and Genesis Analytics have signed a partnership agreement to jointly serve the financial services industry in Africa and the Middle East. The partnership is focused on providing strategy consultancy to prepare financial institutions to launch new digital ecosystem banking services. It will also help these financial institutions address the increasing disruption of innovative mobile payment and digital banking business models with a full portfolio of digital capabilities.

South Africa in the Digital Age (SADA) is an urgent, multi-sectoral, economic strategy development process to charter South African pathways for inclusive growth in the digital age. The process is a joint venture by University of Pretoria’s Gordon Institute of Business Science (GIBS), Genesis Analytics and the Pathways for Prosperity Commission.
