Paul Jackson is an economic development expert, specialising in Development Finance (small business) and Private Sector Development (competitiveness and business environment).
Within these technical areas he has conducted diagnostic research and performed assessments and evaluations of government programmes and policies, state-owned companies and international donor initiatives.
His evidence-based recommendations have resulted in national policy changes, tactical modifications to existing programmes, strategic re-positioning of institutions and the design of new development finance vehicles to improve impact, sustainability and value for money.
Paul holds a master's in Urban Governance for Development from the University of Birmingham, UK.
