Mohamed Khan

Senior Associate (Health)

Mohamed Khan is a senior associate in the Health practice. 

His areas of expertise include public health, mobile health, HIV/AIDS, quantitative and qualitative research, behavioural science, and industrial psychology.

Mohamed is the project manager of the South-South HIV Prevention Learning Network with the Gates Foundation. He has worked on MenConnect, which used a digital platform to provide behaviourally informed messages to HIV positive men to improve the uptake and retention to treatment plans.

He has also worked on scoping telemedicine opportunities applicable to the Ghanaian context and supported the Gates Foundation on their Voluntary Medical Male Circumcision Scale and Sustainability programme to avert new HIV infections. Mohamed has also contributed to the development of the HIV Prevention Self-Assessment Tool (PSAT) for the Global Prevention Collation and Oxford Policy Management on the UNAIDS Technical Support Mechanism.

Mohamed holds a master's degree in Population Studies from the University of KwaZulu-Natal (Howard College) and an honours degree in Industrial Psychology from the University of South Africa.
