Madonna Emmanuel
Senior Associate (Health)
Madonna Emmanuel is a senior associate in the Health practice. She is based in Nigeria.
Madonna has collaborated with non-governmental and government organisations on local, national, and international level. She has extensive experience in monitoring and evaluation, descriptive and analytical investigations, clinical trials, capacity building, and stakeholder management, having managed projects supported by the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, the National Institutes of Health and other organisations.
She was part of Nigeria's 2014 Ebola response team where she worked on the epidemiology team, tracing contacts, assuring swift and prompt isolation, and investigating and managing rumors. She led case verifications and outbreak responses of notifiable diseases and diseases of public health relevance while working for the Lagos State Ministry of Health. She is currently a member of the Lagos State COVID-19 Research Think-Tank's team.
She enjoys data exploration and analysis, despite her technical expertise in research design, monitoring, and evaluation.
Madonna has a master's degree in Public Health (Epidemiology specialty) from the University of Lagos and has received training from the University of Washington in leading, monitoring, and assessing global health programmes.
