Kenya Chappel

Kenya Chappel heads the nutrition financing team in the Human Development practice, and is based in England.
Before joining Genesis, Kenya coordinated a large-scale maternal and child community health worker programme in an informal settlement in South Africa, where she gained significant field experience in aspects of primary health care, WaSH, social protection, early childhood development and nutrition.
She holds a master's in Nutrition for Global Health from the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine, as well as a bachelor's in Financial Accounting and in Dietetics. Her master's dissertation investigated the lack of research conducted on infant and young child feeding in humanitarian emergencies.
