Arianna Fadda

Analyst (Primary Data Intelligence)

Arianna Fadda is an Analyst in the Primary Data Intelligence Unit, based in Johannesburg, South Africa.

With extensive experience in mental health research, psychometric assessment, and health workforce studies, she specialises in qualitative methods, carefully designing interview questions and extracting insights from textual data.

Prior to joining Genesis, she worked as a research consultant in independent practice, contributing to systematic review studies and psychometric scale validation research with international teams.

She also served as a research psychology intern at the Africa Unit for Transdisciplinary Health Research, supporting all research phases - from instrument design to data collection and cleaning - for multiple projects, including the mental health component of South Africa's Prospective Urban Rural Epidemiology (PURE) Study.

At Genesis, Arianna has played a key role l in project co-ordination, managing logistics and incoming data for nationally representative HIV surveillance research. She frequently works across the health and impact evaluation sectors.

Arianna holds a master of arts in social and psychological research from the University of the Witwatersrand as well as a bachelor of social sciences honours and a bachelor of arts both in psychology, from the University of Pretoria. She is also a registered research psychologist with the Health Professions Council of South Africa.
