This scoping paper makes an important contribution to our understanding of how gender intersects with financial inclusion. It is one of a series commissioned by the International Development Research Centre (IDRC) and Mastercard Lab for Financial Inclusion, and explores available evidence on the uptake of fintech in Africa and how it is changing the financial landscape.
