Airbnb contributes billions to South Africa's GDP

Airbnb contributed more than R23.5 billion to South Africa's GDP in 2022 - a 115% increase and remarkable rebound - from pre-COVID levels in 2019. This translates to a total contribution of almost 50,000 jobs.
