Vegetable oil producer allowed to acquire mills

Genesis was commissioned to evaluate the acquisition of several oil mills by a producer of branded vegetable oil products, which, at the time, did not own any mills.

The project involved defining both the upstream and downstream markets, estimating market shares and examining the vertical aspects of the acquisitions.

The acquisition was unconditionally approved by the Competition Commission.
