We have expertise in developing off-balance sheet financing options that hold the key to unlocking additional concessional loans and private sector funding for Eskom. The focus was on bolstering the transmission grid infrastructure while ensuring the decommissioning, repurposing and repowering of coal-fired power plants.

This strategic framework serves as a compass, guiding the assessment of various options while aligning with the objectives of diverse stakeholders, including the Treasury, the Presidential Climate Commission, Eskom and the African Development Bank.
