Genesis assessed investment opportunities in the banking sectors of four Sub-Saharan African countries for a private equity investor. The countries were Zimbabwe, Cote d'Ivoire, Cameroon and Senegal.

The Genesis team developed a framework within each market, analysing the key macroeconomic drivers for growth, a top-down analysis of the banking sector, including regulatory trends and identifying viable investment options that were in line with the investor's strategy.
