Genesis was commissioned to provide expert economic evidence relating to a corporate trade restraint dispute in which the client’s former CEO was accused of violating his trade restraint after leaving to join another company.

The assessment of the merits hinged squarely on the project team’s analysis of the relevant markets and of whether the new company could be considered to be operating in the same market as the litigant.

Genesis found this was not the case.
