At Genesis we champion country-led solutions, ensuring that local leadership drives the most sustainable impact, even when global shocks hit. In our health team, we see the power of this first hand. In 2025, global HIV funding was cut overnight.
Ghana's progress was at risk, especially for people who inject drugs, a group long pushed to the margins. We work with the Ghanaian government, together with partners like Kofi Diaba at WAPCAS PLUS, to continue pushing towards ending AIDS as a public health threat by 2030.
