19 March 2020

Genesis Analytics is pleased to announce that Sarah Magni has been promoted to partner in our Health practice. Sarah has worked at Genesis for four years. Prior to that she has held leadership positions in the health sector for over a decade.

She has over a decade of work experience in public health. She has skills in designing, implementing and managing projects for a variety of organisations including the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, UNAIDS and the South African National Department of Health.

Sarah has experience in HIV prevention, quantitative and qualitative research, monitoring and evaluation, health and HIV/AIDS strategic planning and behavioural sciences. She has extensive project-management experience, including management of budget and staff, as well as implementation against targets.

Managing partner of the Health practice, Dr Saul Johnson, said that Sarah has won and leads many of the most important projects in the Health practice.

“It was as a result of her hard work and client relationships that we won the 17-country study interviewing clients at family planning clinics. She continues to work with our colleagues in Applied Behavioural Economics to develop behavioural work in health and development.

“I look forward to Sarah's continued leadership of the Health Practice and at Genesis, and her valuable contributions to our work.”

Sarah has a bachelor’s in Physiotherapy, a postgraduate diploma in Management and a master’s in Medicine from the University of the Witwatersrand.

We are excited to welcome Sarah into the partnership.
