Project plans to reach 4.1m more family planning users by 2020

23 July 2019

Genesis has been contracted by International Planned Parenthood Federation (IPPF) to conduct client exit interviews (CEIs) with family planning clients in 17 countries in Africa.

This project forms a core part of the UK Department for International Development’s (DFID) flagship family planning programme: Women’s Integrated Sexual Health (WISH). The WISH programme, implemented by a consortium of partners led by IPPF and Marie Stopes International in 26 countries across Africa and Asia, aims to reach up to 4.1 million additional family planning users by 2020.

These CEIs aim to determine whether the programme is reaching the most underserved populations as well as tracking progress against programme indicators. The results will also be used for adaptive programming.

The Genesis Health practice is working with Kantar (a leading data, insights and consulting company) to undertake this project.
