Genesis principal in the Evaluation for Development practice, Mishkah Jakoet, has been appointed to the steering committee of ANDE South Africa.
The steering committee provides support, oversight and guidance to the ANDE South Africa chapter. It comprises members who are knowledgeable of the sector at a regional level and have a good understanding of local opportunities and challenges.

In this new role, Mishkah will work with the ANDE team to further ANDE's goals to support small and growing businesses (SGBs) and impact investing in South Africa.
The Aspen Network of Development Entrepreneurs (ANDE) has a global membership network of organisations that propel entrepreneurship in emerging markets. ANDE members provide critical financial, educational, and business support services to small and growing businesses (SGBs) based on the conviction that SGBs will create jobs, stimulate long-term economic growth, and produce environmental and social benefits.
It is part of the Aspen Institute, an educational and policy studies organisation based in Washington DC. Its mission is to foster leadership based on enduring values and to provide a nonpartisan venue for dealing with critical issues.
