Genesis appoints manager to liaise with North American donors

Naheed Hassan has been appointed Engagement Manager with donor organisations and foundations in North America by Genesis Analytics.

Hassan is based in Toronto, Canada, and will be the point of contact for our growing set of North American clients, from business origination through to project delivery.

“With a permanent presence in North America, we are excited about the opportunity to better support our clients across the Atlantic to make better decisions and unlock value in the 32 African countries in which we work,” said Richard Ketley, director and managing partner of the Financial Services Strategy (FSS) practice.

Hassan is a financial inclusion expert, entrepreneur and professional with start-up, strategic management consulting and project management experience spanning the private, public and non-profit sectors.

She is experienced in strategic planning, design, research, impact monitoring and evaluation for complex multi-country projects. She has strong leadership and team supervision skills along with a deep commitment to social service and community development. Previously Hassan was part of our Johannesburg-based Financial Inclusion team in FSS.

She holds a Master of Public Administration and an International Development degree from Harvard as well as a Master of Business Administration from the Institute of Business Administration.
