Genesis salutes top students in UCT's Economics class of 2016

Genesis Analytics went to the University of Cape Town to award prizes to the top performing Economics students at the school. The event was part of their annual Faculty of Commerce Awards for Excellence Ceremony held on 5 May 2017.

Genesis annually presents certificates and sponsors prizes to the top third-year and Honours Economics students at Stellenbosch, UCT, Wits, Rhodes and the University of Pretoria.

The top five Honours students in 2016 and who have continued on to their Masters are: Martin Dyer (first); Ihsaan Bassier (second); Michelle Rorich (third); Robert Hill (fourth) and Colin Besaans (fifth).

The top five third-year students in 2016 who continued with Honours in Economics in 2017 are: Ryan Hopkins (first); Luke Suddards (second); Gemma Tennick (third); Dean Myhill (fourth) and Meghan Russell (fifth).
