These Learning Labs are intended to support a community of practice amongst impact investors and small and growing business (SGB) practitioners.

By discussing emerging best practice, building knowledge and sharing experience, the Learning Labs ultimately aim to encourage ANDE members to improve impact measurement practices and use, towards more impactful businesses, improved resource allocation, and greater sector-wide efficiency.

“Social impact measurement is a nascent area and, building on the conversations Genesis Analytics facilitated at the recent African Evaluation Association (AFREA) conference, this co-chair position enables us to carry this momentum forward and to contribute to a growing body of knowledge and emerging best practice in this area,” said Jakoet.

The Aspen Network of Development Entrepreneurs (ANDE) is a global network of organisations that propel entrepreneurship in emerging markets. The network's 271 members provide critical financing and business support services to small and growing businesses that create positive economic, social, and environmental impacts in developing countries.
