Genesis part of bid to improve EU-SA dialogue

3 November 2016

Genesis Analytics is part of a consortium that has been awarded a EUR3,436,500 contract with the European Union (EU) to provide technical assistance for the EU-South Africa Dialogue Facility.

The consortium is led by Europe-based Human Dynamics and includes the Shared Value practice at Genesis and the Gordon Institute of Business. The Dialogue Facility, which will be managed by the consortium, will fund projects, research, dialogue sessions and partnerships between the EU and South Africa.

"We are delighted to be part of the winning consortium to manage the EU-SA Dialogue Facility,” said Ryan Short, partner and head of the Shared Value practice, and who will serve as member of the project advisory committee.

“The EU and South Africa share many interests and challenges not least in trade, aid and development, regional integration, economic migration, youth unemployment and climate change. This fund is an important vehicle to bring the partners closer together," he said.

"This is the largest EU contract Genesis has been involved in, and represents an important step in building the Shared Value practice’s capacity to be an intelligent facilitator of dialogue and partnerships.”

"We are particularly happy to be partnering with Human Dynamics along with the Gordon Institute of Business, with whom we continue to build close relationships," said Short.
