Genesis Analytics benchmarks the Central Securities Clearing and Settlement (CSCS) organisation in Nigeria

As part of a strategy assignment, Genesis Analytics has completed benchmarking the operations of the Central Securities Clearing and Settlement Organisation (CSCS) in Nigeria.
Given the economy’s growth prospects and the government’s desire to drive private sector and capital market development, it is essential that the market has a safe and effective securities clearing and settlement infrastructure.
Genesis was retained to benchmark the operations of CSCS using the standards issued jointly by the Committee on Payment and Settlement Systems (CPSS) and the Technical Committee of the International Organisation of Securities Commissions (IOSCO), and to advise the board on a strategic plan for the implementation of the recommendations.
