Dr Rodolfo Wehrhahn is a strategy adviser in the Climate Finance and Economics practice, with expertise in re/insurance and pensions. He specialises in risk management, sector development, financial stability, regulatory compliance, and climate risk in the insurance landscape.
He co-founded Wehrhahn&Wehrhahn Consulting LLC, a Florida-based firm with a global footprint offering financial sector advisory, valuation and strategic development for insurance and pension entities. The firm has conducted more than 50 Financial Sector Assessment Programmes and technical assistance projects for institutions such as the International Monetary Fund and World Bank.
He has driven innovation and fostered development worldwide, including the UK, Italy, Indonesia, the Philippines, Tajikistan, Egypt, Nigeria, Tunisia, Costa Rica, Chile, Peru, Brazil, Tanzania and Kenya.
He holds a PhD in Mathematics and master’s degrees in Mathematics and Physics from the University of Hamburg in Germany.
