Olamide Adeyeye

Senior Associate (Evaluation for Development)

Olamide Adeyeye is a senior monitoring, evaluation and learning associate in the Evaluation for Development practice. His focus is on education and skills for youth economic transitions. He is based in Nigeria.

He has experience in designing, implementing, monitoring and evaluating strategies that support youth education and job creation initiatives in both private and social sector organisations across East and West Africa. He has also led learning, research and advocacy efforts to strengthen strategic public and multilateral partnerships that promote education and employment opportunities for women and youth, especially in the digital, creative and agriculture sectors.

Olamide has a professional certificate in International Development and the European Union from the European School for Leadership Development, Estonia, and an honours degree in Food Science and Technology from the Federal University of Technology, Akure, Nigeria.

He was selected as a 2021 Carrington Fellow by the US Consulate General in Lagos and as a result co-led Project Farmtitude, a social initiative focused on creating and improving economic opportunities for youth across the agriculture value chain. He is also a 2019 Global Ambassador of The Better Tomorrow Movement, Sri Lanka.
