Natalie Mangondo
Senior Carbon Consultant (Climate Finance and Economics)
Natalie Mangondo is a senior carbon consultant in the Climate Finance and Economics practice.
Natalie has a strong record in climate action finance at local, national and global levels. She has held key roles, including a carbon trading and climate finance adviser for Zimbabwe’s Ministry of Environment, Climate and Wildlife, where she developed the Carbon Credit Trading Framework and negotiated at COP28.
She has also worked on sustainable energy and just transition projects at ICLEI Africa in Cape Town and was the 2022 Finance Fellow with the UN Climate Change High-Level Champions. She is a frequent collaborator with UNICEF, UNDP and FAO.
Natalie holds a master’s in Economics from the University of Zimbabwe and a bachelor’s in Management Studies from the University of Cape Town.
