Mishkah Teladia

Partner (Evaluation for Development)

Mishkah Teladia is the partner of the Evaluation for Development practice, and is based in South Africa.

She is an evaluation specialist and has conducted evaluations of interventions that target job creation, youth empowerment, enterprise development, education, smallholder farmer support, health systems strengthening, tax reform, regional financial integration, microfinance, inter alia. She focuses on supporting evidence-based decision-making within organisations, leveraging her knowledge of various evaluation approaches, methods and tools.

She has specific skills in qualitative and quantitative data collection and analysis. She has excellent experience in managing large-scale and multi-country field work activities and in facilitating evaluation use. Mishkah has also designed funds, programmes and projects for private corporations, foundations, government departments and government agencies.

She holds a master’s in Economics at the University of Cape Town (South Africa). She has also completed a number of specialist M&E courses and the Springfield Centre’s Making Markets Work course.

Mishkah is a member of the Southern African Monitoring and Evaluation Association (SAMEA), the American Evaluation Association (AEA) and the African Evaluation Association (AfREA). She serves on the Aspen Network for Development Entrepreneurs’ (ANDE) steering committee for its South African chapter and is also co-chair of ANDE’s Metrics Learning Lab for South Africa.
