Korstiaan Wapenaar is a principal in C0DE (the Centre of Digital Excellence). He is based in Joburg.
He has completed a number of national digital economy strategies, which aim to leverage technology to solve the most critical developmental challenges facing Africa. He has a keen interest in data ecosystems, digital infrastructure and the open economy. He also combines his technical and strategic expertise to design and implement transformational products and services.
Korstiaan holds a master's in Economics and a master's in Computer Science, both from the University of the Witwatersrand. He also has an honours in Economics from the University of Cape Town and a bachelor's in Politics, Philosophy and Economics from Rhodes University.
