Heather Dixon
Senior Associate (Evaluation for Development)
Heather Dixon is a senior associate in the Evaluation for Development practice, and is based in South Africa.
Heather has worked on a range of evaluations in the fields of financial literacy, job creation, education, energy and power, and trafficking in persons. Prior to her experience in evaluation, Heather worked on the implementation of education programmes to improve literacy across South Africa.
Her interests are social justice, and how sustainable development can contribute to a more equitable society. Heather has completed her Msc development studies at SOAS, University of London, as a Chevening Scholar.
Heather also holds a bachelor’s in history, political and international studies and psychology and an honours in history and political and international studies, both from Rhodes University. Heather is a Mandela-Rhodes Scholar.
