Hannah Rowett
Associate (Human Development)
Hannah Rowett is an associate in the Human Development practice and is based in the London office.
She holds a master's degree in Globalisation, Business and Development from the Institute of Development Studies at the University of Sussex and a honours in Economics from the University of Cape Town. Her key areas of interest are early childhood development, equality of opportunity, budget analyses and microfinance.
In her master's dissertation, she explored the relationship between microfinance and mental health among South Africans living in poverty, using a quantitative approach with the National Income Dynamics Survey (South Africa).
Before joining Genesis, Hannah was an intern at the Economic Policy Research Institute where she worked on designing a national social protection strategy for Sudan.
