Federica Chiappe
Strategy Adviser (Climate Finance and Economics)
Federica Chiappe is a strategy adviser in the Climate Finance and Economics practice.
She is an economist working at the interaction of economic development, international climate and environmental policy, and sustainable finance. Since 2008, she has worked in over 20 countries across the globe, advising governments, international institutions, and financiers.
She is currently primarily Team Lead of the Climate Finance Accelerator (CFA) for PwC-UK, a £12 million multi-year programme funded by the UK Government to help low carbon projects in emerging economies improve their bankability and connect to investors.
She has wide expertise in team leadership, economic analysis, strategy design, resourcing and implementation, in addition to stakeholder consultations in complex multi-cultural settings. Federica is also deeply passionate about innovative solutions for the improvement of societies and the environment and occasionally advises start-ups on their sustainability strategies.
