Chloe von Widdern
Associate (Health)
Chloe von Widdern is an associate in the Health practice. She is based in South Africa.
Her focus is on developing digital economy and 4IR strategies across Africa, emphasising universal digital inclusion and interoperability. She has contributed to the design of digital health blueprints and advised both public and private stakeholders on adopting digital health interventions for universal healthcare coverage. Chloe has quantified investments needed to accelerate AI for economic development across Africa and improved data quality for large language models in healthcare.
She has worked on projects for the Mastercard Foundation, the World Bank, the International Development Research Centre, the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation and META.
She holds a master’s in Economics from the University of Cape Town, where she also graduated with a bachelor’s in Finance and an honours in Economics.
