Chitalu Kaite
Senior Associate (Human Development)
Chitalu Kaite is a senior associate for the Human Development practice. She is based in Zambia.
She was previously programme manager in Zambia for the Education Partnership Group on the USAID-funded CATALYZE EduFinance activity. In this role she managed education policy work with the Ministry of Education, delivering a diagnostic report on the policy environment for non-state participation in education. Chitalu facilitated the validation process and promoted non-state provision of education to align with national government goals.
Her work in the education sector has included collaborating with the Embassy of Ireland to facilitate the delivery of its aid programme. She participated in the design, implementation and evaluation of education programmes that aimed to increase access to quality education for children in Zambia, especially the most vulnerable. She has worked for Young Africa Zambia, an organisation that aims to upskill youth with vocational skills training and life entrepreneurial skills.
Chitalu has an honours from the University of Sunderland in the UK and a diploma in Project Management from the National Institute of Public Administration.
