Belinda Kaimuri-Kyalo is a manager in the Climate Finance and Economics practice. She is based in Kenya.
She has worked in economic development areas related to climate (green) finance, climate change adaptation and disaster risk reduction in Africa. She has led several studies as an independent consultant around climate (green) finance, coherence across climate change adaptation and disaster risk reduction, climate insurance, and public investment planning for the UN Economic Commission for Africa, UN Office for Disaster Risk Reduction, FSD Africa, ACRE Africa and UN Habitat.
Belinda holds a master's in Economic Policy and Analysis from Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology and a bachelor’s in Actuarial Science from the University of Nairobi. She also has a verified certificate from the Climate Bonds Initiative on Climate Finance. She is fluent in Kiswahili and English with a basic understanding of French.
