Alain Manouan
Programme Director (Health | USAID LEAP)
Alain Manouan is director of the USAID Long-Term Exceptional Technical Assistance Project Local Programme (LEAP) in the Health practice.
He is an organisational development and programme management professional with experience in the international development sector. He has been involved in the health response to HIV for more than two decades.
His areas of expertise include leadership and programme management, HIV and health programming, community monitoring and accountability, programme analysis and evaluation, capacity building and risk management.
Alain has worked for the United Nations, the NGO sector and for government, operating at national, regional and global levels. Prior to joining Genesis, he worked for six years for the International Treatment Preparedness Coalition (ITPC Global and ITPC West Africa).
He has a master’s in Geography with a specialisation in Populations Study from the National University of Côte d’Ivoire, and a postgraduate certificate in Leadership Practice and Responsibility from Lancaster University in the United Kingdom.
