Impact framework helps WeBuyCars to map road ahead

Dramatic company growth in recent years has led WeBuyCars to see the need to strengthen its processes of sustainability reporting and data-collection. 

This would enable the company to effectively communicate its current impact, create a meaningful impact strategy for the future, and prepare for any future reporting requirements within the automotive industry.

To address this need, WeBuyCars contracted Genesis Analytics to develop a bespoke economic, social and environmental impact framework for use by the company. The project involved:

  1. Conceptualising and defining WeBuyCars' social, economic and environmental impact in South Africa.
  2. Creating a framework for the company to use to measure and track impact in the future.
  3. Aiding in the establishment of data-collection processes and reporting timelines.

The result is an interactive framework that allows the organisation to tailor its sustainability reporting journey to its needs and capabilities over time and to remain responsive to a dynamic reporting landscape.
