Genesis Analytics has announced the promotion of Amreen Choda and Emily Massey to partner in its Evaluation for Development (E4D) practice, reinforcing the firm's commitment to evidence-based impact in emerging markets.

Amreen Choda, based in Kenya, is a leading expert in rigorous evaluation and evidence-informed development. She brings deep expertise in randomised controlled trials (RCTs), quasi-experimental methods, large-scale survey design, and mixed methods research. Amreen supports governments, donors, and development organisations not only in generating robust evidence, but also in becoming better users and producers of data — strengthening their capacity to design, adapt, and scale effective programmes.

Emily Massey, based in South Africa specialises in adaptive, utilisation-focused evaluations and learning frameworks, helping clients from the Rockefeller Foundation to the South African Presidency turn data into strategic decision-making tools. Her sector-spanning approach drives measurable improvements in food systems, youth economic opportunities, and green economy initiatives.

“Amreen and Emily embody the future of evaluation: merging technical excellence with a sharp focus on real-world impact,” said Stephan Malherbe, Genesis CEO. “Their leadership ensures Genesis remains at the forefront of solving complex development challenges,” he added.

With these appointments, Genesis bolsters its E4D practice as a global leader in evaluation and learning solutions.
