Souleima Abdennebi
Manager (Financial Services | West Africa)
Souleima is a manager at Financial Services Strategy, based in the Abidjan office.
She is an economist by training and international development professional with experience with international organisations, the private sector as well as academic research. Souleima combines sound knowledge with field experience in economic governance and capacity development issues in Africa.
Along with her role at Genesis, Souleima is a board member and co-founder of HTS - Partners, a consulting firm that supports SMEs in Sub-Saharan Africa to become regional champions by providing them with tailor-made consulting services ranging from technical assistance to management development including investment readiness.
Before joining Genesis, Souleima was a consultant at the African Development Bank, where she has worked in key departments: the Financial Sector Development, Industrial and Trade and the Resource Mobilisation. During her time at the AfDB, Souleima was assigned to different tasks including participation in and leading dialogues with the bank's regional member countries, producing and reviewing bank's strategies and documents, identifying and managing projects (example: a USD 16.5-million project on industrialisation and financial sector support to the government of Madagascar).
Souleima has a master’s in Economics Expertise of Development Policies and Projects from Pantheon-Sorbonne University, Paris, and a master’s in Economics, from IHEC Business School, Carthage, Tunisia. She speaks French, English and Arabic.
