Sarah Goldsmith is Deputy Director of Genesis Procurement Services, based in the UK.
She has extensive experience in international supply chain management, particularly in health sector programmes focused on maternal and child healthcare.
She has worked with a variety of clients and stakeholders, including government agencies, NGOs and private sector organisations. Her expertise lies in developing and implementing procurement strategies that meet project goals, donor requirements and international standards.
Prior to joining Genesis Sarah was deputy director of procurement at Crown Agents, where she played a key role in shaping the organisation's procurement strategy, managing budgets and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. She spearheaded procurement efforts for critical health programmes, including the procurement of personal protective equipment for the Covid-19 response. She also managed the purchase of medicines and medical consumables under the Health Pooled Fund, which delivered essential health services to South Sudan.
Her experience spans various countries, including Ghana, Kenya, Japan, Nigeria, Sri Lanka and Tanzania. Her deep understanding of global supply chains, combined with her passion for improving healthcare access, makes her an asset in the field of international development.
Sarah has an honours in Business Studies from the University of Kingston and a graduate diploma from the Chartered Institute of Procurement and Supply. She is a certified expert in managing drug supply for primary healthcare.
