Lucrezia Tincani
Principal (Evaluation for Development)
Dr Lucrezia Tincani is a principal in the Evaluation for Development practice at Genesis and is based in the UK. She designs, implements and evaluates development projects for a wide range of clients, including donors, foundations, NGOs, private sector and government partners.
She leads the green MEL strategy for Genesis. She has considerable business development experience, having previously led strategy work on water security and climate change for the past five years.
She is passionate about using M&E to guide programme learning. She has over 10 years’ experience designing and leading complex multi-country and multi-stakeholder evaluations of international development projects. She also has a strong track record of implementing monitoring frameworks and dashboards to ensure the learning loop, from evaluation and monitoring data, can guide adaptive programming. She has led capacity-building training to make sure the MEL system becomes an integral part of project management by the client.
Lucrezia has a PhD in development studies from the School of Oriental and African Studies (UK) and is fluent in English, French, German and Italian.
