Dr Lisa Mulenga
Programme Director (Health | MMC Sustain)
Dr Lisa Mulenga is the programme director of the medical male circumcision programme (MMC SUSTAIN) in the Health practice.
She is a public health professional with experience in clinical care and management of medical services in Africa. She specialises in providing oversight and technical assistance to biomedical HIV prevention programmes that provide services including Voluntary Medical Male Circumcision (VMMC), HIV Testing Services services (HTS), behaviour-change interventions and pre-exposure prophylaxis (PrEP).
Lisa also has vast experience managing varied funding mechanisms and working with donor agencies.
She has a master’s in Business Management, Gordon Institute of Business Science (GIBS), University of Pretoria; a higher certificate in Health Management, Foundation for Professional Development (FPD); a master’s in Public Health, University of Witwatersrand; and a DCH &TM, Diploma in Community Health and Tropical Medicine, University of Heidelberg, Germany; and a MBChB, Human Medicine, from Humboldt University, Berlin.
