Katherine Tredinnick
Associate (Human Development)
Katherine Tredinnick is an associate for the Human Development practice and is based in the Cape Town office.
She holds a master’s degree in Evidence-Based Social Intervention and Policy Evaluation from the University of Oxford. Her masters’ thesis investigated the impact of early childhood development programmes on school readiness levels of children in Sub-Saharan Africa.
Her research interests lie primarily in the field of early childhood development and education (ECDE). She has worked on ECDE research projects with teams based in the Department of Social Policy, and the Department of Education at the University of Oxford. She also co-founded an ECD start-up, Devie, which provides parenting support in the form of a chatbot app. Before joining Genesis she worked as a social impact consultant in Amsterdam for ImpactBasis.
